Week – Tuesday is Hawaiian Shirt/Tacky Tourist Day; Wednesday is Dynamic Duo Day; Thursday is Wacky Day; Friday is Patriotic/Spartan Pride Day. Refer to the
handout that went home late last week for guidelines.

This week
we will be continuing with chapter 3. Students who owe 3.1
vocab or missing homework sign-offs should
turn them on Tuesday. Tuesday in class students will be re-reading section 3.1
and answering the Reading Check questions using RADD. Tuesday night students
should re-read pages 72-76 to prepare for the writing
assignment on Wednesday. No homework on Wednesday.
On Thursday students will be completing a pre-reading activity and then working on 3.2 vocab. If students don’t finish 3.2 vocab (page 82, 12 terms) vocab in class, they will need to work on it at home. Thursday night students should read pages 82-86. Friday is the Homecoming Pep Rally. We will be reading pages 82-86 in class.

and Wednesday, we hope to finish our landform projects. If students want to
present for bonus points, we hope to start this on Thursday. We will also be
completing chapter 3, section 1 vocabulary on Thursday in class. If students
don’t finish it in class, they should complete it for homework. On Friday we
will be going over the vocabulary and starting to read this section.
