1st-5th periods
Signed unit
one tests are due no later than the start of class Tuesday, October 3.
Students
are working on their landform drawing and information this week. They will have
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to finish rough drafts, work on final copies and
practice for their presentations (project was introduced on 9/28, with in-class
time on 9/29 to get started on a rough draft). Students will need to work on
their rough draft and final copy at home as well. They should practice their presentation
at home as well.
Final
copies will be due at the start of class on Thursday, October 5. Presentations
will start that day.
Homework on
10/5 will be to complete chapter 3, section 1 (page 72) vocab, both content and
academic vocabulary. These 9 terms and definitions will be due on Friday,
October 6. Students should read pages 72-76 for homework on Friday, 10/6.
6th period
HW for Tuesday: Signed unit

On Monday
students will take their un-graded continent and ocean post-test. Further
information will be provided about the landform project.
The rest of
the week will be spent researching their assigned landform, working on rough
drafts and final copies. A final due date has not been set, but we are looking
at October 10 or 11.
